The California International Girl Pageant is a Natural pageant. This means that we don't allow heavy makeup, fake hair, fake teeth, or "high-glitz" dresses. We allow little to no makeup on contestants 12 and under, and custom clothing is NOT required. For more information, please visit our Rules and Clothing pages. We are a tiered pageant system, meaning our State pageant titleholders attend the National pageant in July 2012! Tiny Miss (0 mos-3 yrs): Close-up Appraisal with Chaperone, Baby Playtime, Casual Wear, and Party Wear
Petite Miss (4-6 yrs): Close-up Appraisal, Petite Playtime, Petite Personality, Casual Wear, and Party Wear
Little Miss (7-9 yrs): Close-up Appraisal, Talent, Casual Wear, and Party Wear
Young Miss (10-12 yrs): Close-up Appraisal, Talent, Casual Wear, and Party Wear
Junior Teen Miss (13-15 yrs): Close-up Appraisal, Talent, Casual Wear, and Evening Gown
Teen Miss (16-18 yrs): Close-Up Appraisal, Talent, Casual Wear, and Evening Gown
International Girl (19-26 yrs): Close-up Appraisal, Talent, Casual Wear, and Evening Gown
Optional Competitions:
Talent (separate from Official Talent Competition), International Doll, Photogenic, Cover Miss, Photo Model, Popular Miss, and Glamour Girl
Official state titles include: Overall winner (highest score for Age Division), Princess, Personality/Talent, and Mini-Optionals.
Beauty state titles include: Beauty winner (highest score for Age Division without Talent/Personality score), Beauty Princess, and Mini-Optionals.
All State Titles qualify for Nationals, and we do not "double-crown"!
Mini-Optionals include: Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Eyes, Prettiest Smile, and Best Interview
